Welcome Home Ugly delivers the mystical journey of a horn tootin’ trucker named Suzi stuck in a crisis over delivering silicone or staying in a world of accepting freaks living to the left of a fork in the road. Gender bending pixilation, musical stop motion, and composited chaos are used to express struggles with identity, vice, and spirituality. With a guru in the form of an ashtray, Suzi confronts the plastic age with thought, emotion, and, well, a lot of plastic.
